Economic Opportunity Program

CRHA’s Economic Opportunity Program is part of HUD’s Section 3 Program
that helps residents of federally funded low-income communities improve
their economic well-being through job training, employment, and
contract opportunities.

Section 3 residents

  • Are you a CRHA Public Housing Resident? OR
  • Are you a holder of a Housing Choice Voucher like CSRAP or Section 8 Rent Assistance? OR
  • Are you a low-income or very low-income Resident of CRHA’s service area? 
 

Section 3 Businesses

  • 51 percent or more of businesses owned by Section 3 Residents OR
  • At least 30 percent of full-time staff are Section 3 Residents OR
  • Committed to subcontracting to Section 3 business concerns
