PHAR

Given our “Residents First!” philosophy, CRHA works closely with PHAR (the Public Housing Association of Residents), the duly-recognized city-wide Resident Advisory Board, in all aspects of agency operations.

PHAR’s mission is “To educate and empower low-income residents to protect and improve our own communities through collective action.”

PHAR is also a founding member of the Charlottesville Low Income Housing Coalition, which advocates for policies that prevent displacement and increase affordable housing for low-income members of our community.
