The Charlottesville Redevelopment and Housing Authority has been awarded two Virginia Housing Capacity Tier 2 grants.
They are aimed at providing intensive training to build up resident interactions and boost relationships.
Here’s how they stack up:
- $4,950 is for individual training for Resident Services staff to attend a Self-Sufficiency Service Coordination training in September.
- $15,500 is for an agencywide “Service Excellence Summit” with the UVA School of Continuing and Professional Service.
“We’re incredibly grateful to Virginia Housing for their continued support as our agency grows! These funds are the first step of implementing our strategic plan as we work with our staff to better serve our residents,” says Katrina Beitz, Grants and Development Coordinator.
These grants will specifically help CRHA fulfill the third goal of the strategic plan, which is: “Equip CRHA with an organizational structure that stewards a healthy relationship with residents and the Charlottesville community.”
