Down Goes South First Street

Crews working for CRHA are busy knocking down the old residences on South First Street in Charlottesville.

In their place will be new buildings with all sorts of amenities, including central air conditioning, a computer lab and a community center.

Here’s a look at some of the work being done:

 

When the new units are up, they will add 113 fully subsidized affordable housing units to the city.
