We are pleased to announce the release of the second draft of the updated Family Self Sufficiency (FSS) Action Plan, which will allow for an increased number of participants in the FSS program. As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing the well-being of HUD-assisted families, the Charlottesville Redevelopment & Housing Authority (CRHA) has diligently worked on this revised plan in accordance with the requirements set forth by the Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
The FSS program is designed to empower HUD-assisted families by enabling them to boost their earned income and reduce their reliance on welfare assistance and rental subsidies. This second draft of the CRHA FSS Action Plan reflects our dedication to helping families achieve financial independence and self-sufficiency.
The revised FSS Action Plan will be available for public review for a duration of 45 days, commencing on August 8, 2023. The plan will subsequently be presented to the CRHA Board of Commissioners for their assessment at the scheduled meeting on September 9th 2023.
